On Sunday, September 28, Yuvraj Singh attended the exciting Asia Cup 2025 final between India and Pakistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
With continental dominance at stake, the renowned former India all-rounder was spotted closely monitoring every move between the bitter rivals. He would be unhappy with the way two cricket players he has coached, Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma, were dismissed in the second innings, though.

Shubman left in the fourth over for twelve runs, while Abhishek, the tournament’s top run scorer, was dismissed in the second over for five. Haris Rauf took the catches after Faheem Ashraf removed both batters.
Abhishek was dismissed with a single-digit score for the first time during the competition. However, Shubman’s performance with the bat was disappointing yet again. The vice captain didn’t have a half-century by the end of the competition.
In addition to Abhishek and Shubman, India was chasing a 147-run target when captain Suryakumar Yadav was removed during the powerplay. To save the ship, though, Sanju Samson and Tilak Varma formed a tough partnership for the fourth wicket.
It was up to Tilak to lead the innings and get India over the finish line after Samson was out for 24 off 21 balls. Shivam Dube provided him with excellent support as he achieved his first half-century in the competition.
Axar Patel and Rinku Singh are anticipated to bat at No. 7 and No. 8, respectively, giving the Men in Blue excellent batting depth. Indian supporters, however, will want Tilak and Dube to lead them to victory. India is attempting to win an unprecedented seventh Asia Cup championship. However, when the Asia Cup has been contested in the T20 format, Pakistan has won two of them but has never taken home the trophy.
