'You are using your brain.' - Rohit Sharma's witty reply to inquiry about his future in T20I cricket

During the post-match news conference on January 4, after his team had defeated South Africa in Cape Town, Indian captain Rohit Sharma was looking quite cocky. India performed well to win the second Test by seven wickets following an innings and 32-run loss in the first Test in Centurion.

The Indian captain was prepared with a witty response when a reporter attempted to quiz him about his T20I career and the next Afghanistan series. With a funny expression, Rohit added, “Dimaag laga rahe ho aap (You are using your brain)…let’s concentrate on Cape Town now.”.

It is important to note that India will play three Twenty20 Internationals (TT20Is) against Afghanistan on January 11, 14, and 17. Many fans are eager to see if veterans like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be playing or not.

It will rank among our most memorable wins in Test matches: Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma praised India’s victory in Cape Town as “one of the best ever,” ranking it with all of the nation’s notable Test victories. The captain stated that it is difficult to compare the victory to the well-known victory at Gabba between 2020 and 21 since every Test victory has unique significance.

It’s going to be one of our finest wins in Test matches. It ranks right up there with all of our successes, even if we have never won here,” Rohit Sharma said. Comparing tests that you win elsewhere might be challenging. These tests are hard to rate. Each test match has significance and value of its own. The Gabba game. I believe Australia’s last defeat there was in 1988. You can’t really rank the tests, but it became their stronghold, and the manner in which we won that test was crucial. But it’s right up there. That demonstrates how crucial this place is to visit and succeed. Bravo to the group.”
