We were seated on a raised platform, or machaan. The child was going to yell when the tiger appeared, but my mother stopped him. Next, my father fired a six-foot shot at the tiger. fatally shot in the head. In an interview with Switch, Yograj Singh stated, “He fell like a mountain.”

“The child could not speak. Mom was told to take me down by my father. “Sher ka baccha ghaas nahi khaata” (a tiger cub doesn’t eat grass) was remarked as he held me. That voice sounded like echoes. He forced me to sit on the tiger and covered my lips and forehead with its blood. He said, “I still have that picture in my house.”
