Yasir Arafat, a former cricket player for Pakistan, has spoke out against the Pakistan Cricket Board (PBCB) for poorly scheduling its matches. He brought up the badly arranged domestic one-day event, which coincides with the England Test series. In light of the fact that England will be facing Pakistan after they lost a two-game Test series against Bangladesh, the PCB decided to hold the Champions.

Since January 2021, the team has lost all of its home Test matches, including matches against Australia, England, and Bangladesh. Pakistan will want to turn it around as the England series draws near. Their most recent defeat brought their record against the English to five straight losses in Test matches.
