In the second innings of Match 62 of the IPL 2025 between the Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Yashasvi Jaiswal opened the scoring with a boundary. He is now the only hitter to accomplish this in two distinct IPL 2025 seasons, having done so five times.

Yashasvi Jaiswal got RR off to a fast start on Tuesday, May 20, as they were chasing a target of 188 against CSK.
He smashed 36 off 19 deliveries, studded with five fours and two maximums. He is the third-highest number of sixes hit by a Rajasthani batsman in a single IPL 2025 edition with 28.
Although the Royals have had a difficult season, Yashasvi Jaiswal has been in incredible form, scoring 559 runs at an average of 43 and a strike rate of nearly 160 in 14 innings.
