Yashasvi Jaiswal Recovering Well

Following his medical stay at Aditya Birla medical in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Indian cricket player Yashasvi Jaiswal has provided a comprehensive health report. During the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match against Rajasthan, the Mumbai cricket player complained of stomach pain, which worsened after the game. Yashasvi was diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis after a medical evaluation at the hospital.

On Friday, December 19, he thanked his followers and well-wishers on his official social media account for their worry over his health. He also mentioned how well he is recovering and how eager he is to be back on the cricket pitch soon.

“I just wanted to say how much I appreciate all of the well wishes that have been sent my way over the past few days. I’m doing well, appreciative of the wonderful medical care, and eager to return to the field soon.” On his official ‘X’ handle, Jaiswal wrote.

Just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for the overwhelming good wishes over the last few days. I’m recovering well, grateful for the fantastic medical support, and looking forward to being back on the field soon!

Jaiswal is anticipated to be included in Mumbai’s team for the 2025–2026 Vijay Hazare Trophy season. Alongside his India teammate Rohit Sharma, the batter is anticipated to commence the competition and play in at least two rounds. After that, the two will play the series against New Zealand in three One-Day Internationals at home.

Yashasvi Jaiswal is scheduled to compete in the Vijay Hazare Trophy for Mumbai.

On December 24 at Jaipur, Mumbai, under the leadership of Shardul Thakur, will play Sikkim in the Elite Group C match to kick off their Vijay Hazare campaign. After a few days, they will play Chhattisgarh at the same location. The ODI series between India and the BlackCaps, however, will begin on January 11, 2026, with games scheduled in Vadodara, Rajkot, and Indore.

Notably, Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill have been selected to start for the Men in Blue’s T20I team, with Sanju Samson serving as their backup. As a result, Jaiswal is currently out of the picture. On Saturday, December 20, India will announce their team for the 2026 T20 World Cup, but Jaiswal’s prospects of getting included are still slim.
