Watch: Yashasvi Jaiswal and Mohammed Siraj win fielding medal after Bangladesh Test series

After two exciting matches, the two-match Test series between Bangladesh and India finally came to an end. The Indian team won both games. They won the first match, which took place in Chennai, by 280 runs. In addition, they managed to win the second Test by 7 wickets despite weather delaying it for many days.

There were some outstanding fielding performances during the series. Team India performed admirably in the field, from KL Rahul’s mastery at leg slip to Rohit Sharma’s breathtaking one-handed strike.

Following the end of the Test series, the fielding medal was awarded again in accordance with tradition. Fielding coach T. Dilip could be seen presenting the medals in a video that the BCCI posted on social media.

The players who were nominated for the medal were Mohammed Siraj, KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, and Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Mohammed Siraj were declared the joint winners.

“BTS, Impact Player of the Series, Dressing Room. Throughout the #INDvBAN series, deft grabs, one-handed catches, and excellent fielding were consistent, according to the BCCI’s caption.

India gets ready to play Bangladesh in T20Is.

India and Bangladesh will now turn their attention to the shortest format after winning the Test series 2-0. A three-game T20I series will now pit these teams against one another. The games are scheduled on October 6, 9, and 12 in Gwalior, Delhi, and Hyderabad, respectively.

India will be hoping for a repeat performance in the Twenty20 International cricket matches now that they have won the biggest format. Bangladesh, on the other side, plans to pull off an upset and defeat the hosts.
