A schedule for the highly anticipated Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 has been released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Baroda, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Mumbai are the four cities where the five-team competition will take place between February 14 and March 15.
At Baroda’s BCA Stadium, the Gujarat Giants (GG) will play the reigning champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on February 14 to begin the season. Six games will be played in Baroda before the action shifts to Bengaluru, where on February 21 RCB will play their first home game against the first-ever champions, the Mumbai Indians, at the storied M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Bengaluru will serve as the host city for eight games.
This season, Lucknow will host four WPL matches beginning on March 3, marking its debut as a venue.
The last leg of the competition will take place in Mumbai, where the final two league games and the playoff games will be played at the Cricket Club of India.
MI will play GG and RCB on March 10 and 11, respectively, to wrap out the group stage. The teams in second and third place will compete in the Eliminator on March 13 in an attempt to join the top-seeded teams in the summit match on March 15.
