The Women’s Premier League (WPL) is scheduled to start its second season on February 23. Fans are incredibly excited about the competition after Mumbai Indians won its perfect first season. The team led by Harmanpreet Kaur will have their sights set on the goal once more.
It is important to note that on February 23, 2024, the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore will host the opening match between the reigning champion Mumbai Indians women and the Delhi Capitals women, who finished second last season.
Referring to the team’s success in the prior campaign, the Mumbai Indians women won two games and recorded 12 points in eight games, good for second place in the tournament rankings. The team won its opening five games of the competition and went on to win the title by defeating Delhi Capitals, who were atop the table, in the summit match.
