Uma Chetry was selected by the Women’s Selection Committee to replace Yastika Bhatia in India’s team for the forthcoming ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 and the three-match IDFC First Bank ODI series against Australia.

During India’s training camp in Vizag, Yastika Bhatia suffered a left knee injury. The BCCI Medical Team is keeping an eye on Yastika Bhatia’s condition and hopes she recovers quickly.

Smriti Mandhana (VC), Pratika Rawal, Harleen Deol, Deepti Sharma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Renuka Singh Thakur, Arundhati Reddy, Richa Ghosh (WK), Kranti Gaud, Sayali Satghare, Radha Yadav, Sree Charani, Sneh Rana, and Uma Chetry (WK) are the new Indian ODI team against Australia.

Tejal Hasabnis, Prema Rawat, and Priya Mishra are the standby players for the ODI series against Australia.

India’s revised team for the 2025 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup:

Pratika Rawal, Harleen Deol, Deepti Sharma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Renuka Singh Thakur, Arundhati Reddy, Richa Ghosh (WK), Kranti Gaud, Amanjot Kaur, Radha Yadav, Sree Charani, Sneh Rana, and Uma Chetry (WK) are among the people who are involved.

Tejal Hasabnis, Prema Rawat, Priya Mishra, Minnu Mani, and Sayali Satghare are the ICC Women’s World Cup standby players.

The India A squad, which is expected to play a warm-up match in the World Cup, will no longer include Uma Chetry, who is now a member of the India squad for the Australia series and the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025.
