ENG-W vs. AUS-W in the Women's Ashes in 2023 Match Prediction: Who will prevail in today's second ODI?

The second One-Day International (ODI) of the three-match Women’s Ashes 2023 series between England and Australia will take place on Sunday, July 16, at The Rose Bowl in Southampton. After dropping the lone Test, England has been dominating, winning the last two T20Is to seal the series and the opening ODI to take a 1-0 lead. England made history in the first ODI by recording their most successful chase of 264 runs.

Heather Knight, the captain, took the initiative, scored 75* (86) in 48.1 overs, and assisted her team in reaching the objective. Australia is one victory away from keeping the Ashes, which they previously won in 2022, while England must win both of the remaining games to do so. Both teams will be keen to give their all on the field in the second ODI since the prized urn is on the line.

Nat Sciver Brunt, possibly the best pitcher,

Although she scored a respectable 31 (41) in the first ODI, the 30-year-old veteran was unable to lead her team to victory. Sciver Brunt will be eager to hit a high total in the second ODI and move her team closer to victory after struggling to make an impact with the bat in the first two games of the series.

Ashleigh Gardner, perhaps the best bowler

The all-rounder has taken the most wickets thus far on the trip, with 17 at an average of 17.29. She pulled up 3/42 in ten overs, making her the best bowler for Australia in the opening ODI. Gardner will again put her best performance forward when the series is on the line and bowl her team to victory.
