Kanpur, August 29 2023: The stage has been prepared for the inaugural UPT20 edition, which will be a historic event for cricket in Uttar Pradesh and beyond India. The UPT20 held at the Green Park International Stadium promises to be a memorable extravaganza of cricketing talent and rivalry with six powerhouse franchises competing for supremacy: Gorakhpur Lions, Kanpur Superstars, Kashi Rudras, Lucknow Falcons, Meerut Mavericks, and Noida Super Kings. The competition gets underway on August 30 and the championship game is set for September 16.
The UPT20 has greater significance than just the thrill of T20, the most exciting format of the game, by giving the state’s top cricketers a chance to grow, improve, and shine on a national stage.
