Will Kuldeep Yadav Make India's Starting XI for the First Twenty20 International Against New Zealand?

This is because the team management could be persuaded to use Kuldeep Yadav. Team India recently defeated New Zealand in the one-day internationals (ODIs) by a score of 3-0, and now the team is preparing to face the same opponents in a three-game Twenty20 International series beginning on Friday.

Hardik Pandya, an all-rounder, will once again be leading the team as captain while Suryakumar Yadav will serve as his deputy. Leading batsmen Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will not be playing since they are receiving rest.

Earlier this month, under the leadership of Hardik, the home team won two of the three Twenty20 International matches and defeated Sri Lanka by a score of 2-1.

It would be intriguing to watch who will be able to secure a berth in the Playing XI for the first Twenty20 International match, which will take place on Friday in Ranchi. Prithvi Shaw has been nominated to the squad.

Right-hander Shubman Gill, who is 23 years old, wowed everyone with his heroics in the one-day international series against New Zealand. As a result, he was awarded the Player of the Series award for the competition.

However, in the most recent Twenty20 Internationals against Sri Lanka, Gill was only able to score 7, 5, and 46 runs, although he is most certainly capable of playing a more substantial innings.

Ishan Kishan: In the absence of Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson, the job of wicketkeeping falls on Ishan Kishan. Aside from this, he is well-known for playing explosive knocks, although in the most recent Twenty20 Internationals against Sri Lanka, he performed quite poorly.

Suryakumar Yadav, the top batter for India, wowed everyone with his magnificent century in the third Twenty20 International that was played against Sri Lanka.

To join the select group of hitters who have scored three or more tonnes in the shortest format, it took Surya just 51 balls and an unbeaten knock of 112 runs for him to join the club.

The right-handed batsman Rahul Tripathi made his debut in international competition during the second Twenty20 International that was played against Sri Lanka. Unfortunately, he was only able to score 5 runs before being removed.

In spite of this, he scored 35 runs off of only 16 balls in the third match he played.

Hardik Pandya: The team’s captain struggled mightily in the Twenty20 Internationals against Sri Lanka, scoring a total of just 45 runs in all three games. In addition to this, he was responsible for taking two wickets in the third match.

In the first T20I, Deepak Hooda, the right-handed hitter, produced a blistering knock of 41 not out off 23 balls, but in the second and third T20I, he was unable to recreate his exploits. Hooda would be excited to put up yet another great performance.

Kuldeep Yadav: Kuldeep Yadav might be used despite the fact that Washington Sundar is also in the team and is a spin all-rounder.  When combined with Chahal, the left-arm wrist spinner has the potential to make a devastating combo.

Arshdeep Singh, a promising Indian bowler, had a dismal game in the second Twenty20 International (T20I), as he earned an undesirable hat-trick of no-balls. Arshdeep Singh’s performance was not memorable.

However, in the third match, he made an outstanding recovery and took three wickets while allowing only 20 runs in 2.4 overs. His performance was outstanding.

Shivam Mavi: He made his debut for India in the first Twenty20 International and wowed everyone with his performance, posting figures of 4/22. But failed to take a single wicket in any of the following two games.

Umran Malik, a fast bowler from Jammu and Kashmir, wreaked havoc against Sri Lanka by taking seven wickets over the course of three matches and wowed everyone with his blistering pace.

Yuzvendra Chahal, a senior spinner, had three wickets taken against Sri Lanka in the Twenty20 Internationals they played. It is imperative that he demonstrates his worth.
