Players like David Warner, Mitchell Marsh, and Glenn Maxwell will be making their comebacks for Australia; therefore, the team management needs to be careful with them. Meanwhile, Steve Smith will serve as the team’s captain in the absence of Pat Cummins, while renowned paceman Josh Hazlewood will also miss the series owing to a left Achilles injury. Yet, this will provide Australia with the opportunity to test their reserve and ultimately bolster it before the World Cup.
While Shreyas Iyer and India captain Rohit Sharma will miss the opening match and the entire series, Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel will be making their ODI comebacks.
