India will need to move quickly to regroup after their devastating six-wicket loss to Australia in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 final, as they have a busy schedule over the next three months. The Men in Blue will face Australia in a five-match Twenty20 International series starting on Thursday, November 23, immediately following the World Cup.

The team captained by Rohit Sharma will then embark on a three-T20I and multi-ODI trip of South Africa in December. They will also play a two-match Test series against the Proteas.

In addition, India will play a five-match Test series against England starting in the final week of January, after opening the year with a three-match Twenty20 International series against Afghanistan.

The team’s primary focus will be on the T20 World Cup 2024, which is set to take place in the US and the West Indies, so expect plenty of T20 action on the next tours. In addition, when they play South Africa and England in pivotal series, the Indian Test Team will be eager to accrue significant points on the World Test Championship (WTC) Points Table.

With one victory, one tie, and a points percentage of 66.67 from two games, Team India is presently ranked second in the WTC standings. They placed second in the last two tournament editions and will be eager to advance this time and take home the coveted mace.

Rishabh Pant is probably going to return in 2019?

In addition to the busy schedule, Indian team supporters are eagerly awaiting Rishabh Pant’s return, as he hasn’t played in nearly a year following his terrifying automobile accident in December 2022. Pant’s participation in the 2024 Indian Premier League has been confirmed by Delhi Capitals team director Sourav Ganguly. It is anticipated that Pant will make his international return in February 2023, during the series against England.
