In the meantime, only Shemaine Campbelle (26) put up any resistance as the visitors only managed to score 81/9 in their 20 overs. Among the bowlers, Arlott was the best. She dismissed Hayley Matthews, James, and Stafanie Taylor in her first international match, finishing with statistics of 3 for 14 from her four overs, which contained 18 dot balls. With the ball in hand, Lauren Bell looked outstanding as well, taking three wickets.
