On April 27, the Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will play in Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium. Earlier, KL Rahul, a cricketer from Bengaluru, showed off his skills in front of his hometown by hammering 93* off 53 balls as DC crushed the home team at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Ahead of the two sides’ “revenge week” match, the DC middle-order batsman talked about his time at the RCB camp in 2016. The wicketkeeper-batter said that the defeat to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the finals was “heartbreaking” and that he and the former captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Virat Kohli, used to discuss the match. The right-handed batter recalled that the game might have turned out like a fairy tale if one of them had been able to stay a little longer.
“Virat and I have discussed it numerous times. For RCB, that 2016 season was truly unique. We needed to win seven straight games to qualify because we were at the bottom of the table, and we succeeded. We advanced to the final and won the eliminator,” Rahul stated on Star Sports. Things may have turned out quite differently if one of us had stayed longer. Winning in Chinnaswamy at home would have left a lasting impression.

With six wins and two losses from their eight games thus far, DC is now ranked second in the standings. Having won six of their nine games, RCB is currently in third place, just behind the Capitals. Following their defeat by DC, RCB will attempt to get revenge on them on their home pitch and win their seventh tournament game to come closer to the postseason.
