[WATCH] IPL 2025: KL Rahul slogs Mohammed Siraj for a huge maximum during the match between GT and DC

KL Rahul and Karun Nair were at the DC crease in the third over, which was delivered by Mohammed Siraj. Rahul easily cleared his front leg and lofted the ball over long-on for a massive six after Siraj pitched it full and angled in towards him on the third delivery. Perfectly placed, the shot displayed the right-handed batter’s graceful power hitting without resorting to force.

At Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, the 35th IPL 2025 match between the Gujarat Titans (GT) and Delhi Capitals (DC) is presently in progress. The DC top-order came out firing, but GT captain Shubman Gill won the toss and chose to bowl first. While DC entered the match without Jake Fraser-McGurk, GT entered the match with their starting lineup unaltered.

The right-arm pacer placed early pressure on the GT bowlers with a 16-run first over. However, after removing Abishek Porel for 18, Arshad Khan was able to partially reverse the situation in the next over. Before he fell, Porel had already made an impression by hitting three boundaries and a six. Despite losing a few wickets, the Karnataka pair also left soon after having strong individual starts that enabled the visitors to score 73 runs in the powerplay.

The Delhi Capitals are now leading the points table after winning five of their six games this season, demonstrating their outstanding play. The Gujarat Titans, who are in third position with four victories and two losses, are also having a great season.

In order to improve their standing on the IPL 2025 Points Table and get one step closer to securing a postseason berth, both teams are hoping to win tonight.
