The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad is the site of the match between the Gujarat Titans (GT) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Rahul Tewatia’s amazing fielding attempt close to the boundary almost provided one of the tournament’s most spectacular moments. Rashid Khan, a leg-spinner, bowled the 13th over against Heinrich Klaasen and Abhishek Sharma of the SRH. Klaasen was bowled the fifth ball, and he lofted it towards long-off after releasing his arms.
Tewatia made a fantastic leap and caught the ball with his left hand, even though the ball appeared to have the elevation to clear the boundary ropes for a six. He sensed he might touch the boundary lines when he landed close to the ropes, so he let go of the ball just in time to keep from stepping over. Despite not being able to finish the catch, the GT all-rounder’s effort prevented the ball from going for six.

GT scored 224 runs in the first inning. With 76 runs off of 38 balls, Shubman Gill took the lead, and Sai Sudharsan contributed to the powerplay with 48 runs off of 23 balls. Jos Buttler, an England batsman, hit 64 off 37 deliveries. Jaydev Unadkat finished his four-over performance for SRH with stats of 3/35 after taking three wickets in the last over.
Travis Head and Ishan Kishan were both despatched cheaply, causing SRH to lose early wickets. In the IPL 2025 points standings, SRH is in ninth place and is in dire need of a victory to be in the running for the playoffs. With six victories so far this season, GT is comfortably in fourth place and hopes to qualify for the playoffs.
