On Tuesday, May 6, in the 56th IPL 2025 encounter between the Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians at the storied Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, Corbin Bosch made a few spectacular shots. MI reached 155/8 as the lower-order batsman played a brilliant hand and scored 27 runs in 22 balls. When MI collapsed, he delivered a valuable knock.
When MI dropped from 97/2 after 10.3 overs to 113/6 after 13.5 overs, Bosch came out to bat. The home team quickly found itself behind in the game. At that point, Bosch moved into the middle and attempted to keep his team from losing the game any more. He therefore batted carefully till the final few overs of MI’s innings.
The final over of the innings was bowled for GT by Prasidh Krishna. The right-arm pacer bowled somewhat short at 144.5 kmph on the opening ball. Early length recognition allowed Bosch to stand firmly, shift his body weight, and hit a powerful pull shot towards deep midwicket to score six runs.
After being struck for a six off a short delivery, Krishna went fuller on the next one, as any bowler would. Bosch tried a bold reverse scoop after carefully planning the move and accurately predicting the line and length.

The batter was unaffected by the right-arm pacer’s speed, which was over 140 kmph. Bosch’s shot helped MI reach the 150-run milestone and demonstrated his value as a batter. The South African scored 27 runs in 22 balls during his time in the middle, including two sixes and a four.
Will Jacks and Suryakumar Yadav performed admirably for MI. MI didn’t really get going in their innings until they were in the middle. Jacks struck a remarkable 53(35), which included three sixes and five fours, while Suryakumar scored 35 runs in 24 balls.
