For the first time since 2017, the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy will be back next month. As the eight teams put it “All On The Line,” the ICC sets the tone in motion by honouring the enduring “white jackets” with a promotional video that stars Pakistani hero and former captain Wasim Akram, inviting supporters worldwide to join the champions’ journey.
The top eight teams will compete in 15 matches over 19 days in the highly anticipated tournament, which takes place from February 19 to March 9, 2025. In the ICC’s most competitive tournament format, every game matters. Teams compete not only for the Champions Trophy but also for the coveted white jackets, which represent the pinnacle of excellence and willpower.

A three-decade cricket champion in his own right, emphasises in the promotional video that the jackets represent the unrelenting quest for tactical mastery and a legacy that motivates future generations. The journey of sacrificing everything for success is symbolised by winning the white jacket.
“The unveiling of the white jacket, which symbolises greatness, will now build the excitement of the event across the global cricket community,” stated Wasim Akram, who stated that the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy represents the best of the best. Since every game involves high pressure and there is no opportunity for any side to take a break, the strongest team will win the Champions Trophy event next month.
