In their second game of the 2018 ICC Cricket World Cup, Team India will face Afghanistan. On Wednesday, October 11, the game will take place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Before the game, Robin Uthappa, a former Indian batter, said it would be entertaining to watch the rivalries between the players on both teams, particularly the one between Naveen-ul-Haq and Virat Kohli. The 2023 Indian Premier League has a history of igniting rivalries between the young Afghan batter and Kohli.

Shubman Gill, India’s star batter who is currently recovering from dengue, won’t be available. The 24-year-old was notable for sitting out the match against Australia.
The young hitter will not have it easy, but Robin Uthappa expressed hope that he will rejoin the club completely fit.
“We’re crossing our fingers that he heals fast and joins the squad. Making a full recovery after dengue, however, is difficult. It does get physically challenging at times, as I have experienced firsthand. We are praying that it hasn’t had a significant impact on his body. The 37-year-old continued, “When you recover from dengue, you suffer some bone discomfort.
India recently defeated Australia by six wickets in a gripping match in Chennai. On October 14, in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, the Men in Blue will meet their bitter rivals Pakistan following their contest with Afghanistan. Afghanistan hopes to perform better against the two-time champions after losing to Bangladesh in their opening game.
