She asserted that Virat Kohli used to make everyone grin and to think of himself as the Indian team’s Sachin Tendulkar.
“‘Ma’am, I will be the next Sachin Tendulkar of the Indian Team’ was the often-repeated quote, yes, at that time, sometimes it made us smile at the sheer grit and confidence of the wide-eyed boy,” Sachdev continued. “Virat consistently received high exam scores. He performed better than average, and the only time he would drop a few points was when his practice time consumed him’, Sachdev continued.
Sachdev was Kohli’s eighth-grade teacher at Vishal Bharti Public School, where he attended until the ninth grade. She further mentioned how, rather frequently, Virat Kohli would claim to have studied for tests following his practice sessions.
“After returning from my practices, I took my time studying for the test. According to Sachdev, “we used to hear it very frequently from him.” She disclosed that Kohli is a dedicated student and athlete.
According to Sachdev, he had good cooperation from the school’s instructors and other staff. “He worked very hard to excel in both sports and academics, and the teachers at Vishal Bharti Public School, Paschim Vihar, fully understood his struggle and cooperated with him by giving him added guidance,” Sachdev said.
