Putting Virat Kohli at the bottom of the Fab Four, a group of modern batting greats that also includes Joe Root, Steve Smith, and Kane Williamson, Australian wicketkeeper-batter Alyssa Healy recently sparked debate. When these four batsmen started to rule international cricket in the early 2010s, the ‘Fab Four’ phenomenon took up, evoking memories of other great quartets from bygone periods.
In addition to leading their respective national teams over the last ten years, Kohli, Root, Smith, and Williamson have made history with their outstanding batting exploits.
Despite having played in the most games, Virat Kohli stats are still poor, which is why she ranked the star hitter in fourth place among the others.
“They are all excellent. However, if I were to base my decision only on numbers, I would rank Kohli fourth. However, in my opinion, he excels in every other area. “I look at his stats after considering how much cricket he plays. And given how much cricket he plays and the strain he faces, they are incredible. However, if I take an analytical approach, he will come in fourth,” she continued.

Healy unexpectedly selected Kane Williamson as her favourite player out of the four. She based her argument on Williamson’s importance to New Zealand’s batting order.
“Let’s be honest, Virat believes he is the best player in the world, but Williamson has carried the entire New Zealand team. With him, though, it feels as though there is always someone else. Rohit Sharma is a hundred-score player. KL Rahul has a 100-point rating. At No. 8, even [Ravindra] Jadeja is capable of a 100. Although he has always had someone else, Healy continued, “I think that if Williamson doesn’t make those runs, New Zealand won’t come close to winning.”

Many people concur that Kohli is perhaps the best white-ball hitter of the four, but he has fallen behind his contemporaries in the longest format due to his recent troubles in Test cricket. In Test cricket, Root in particular has excelled, amassing runs and hundreds at a remarkable clip.
