Meanwhile, India was out of the game at 51/2 and lost captain Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul early. The Australian audience greeted Virat Kohli with jeers when he entered the arena following tea.
For the uninitiated, Virat Kohli is in the spotlight for the wrong reasons after getting into an unnecessary altercation with rookie Sam Konstas on the first day of the fourth Test. As he hammered the Indian bowlers over the park during Australia’s batting, Konstas appeared to be in excellent form. When the Australian innings reached the tenth over, the former captain of India approached him and touched his shoulder.

Rohit Sharma is still struggling even after making his debut for India.
Former cricket players slammed Kohli’s antics, and even former India head coach Ravi Shastri didn’t appear impressed.
“It’s not necessary at that time when you see that,” Shastri told Star Sports. “Given his stature in the game and the fact that he has captained the team for a tonne of years, I believe Virat will appreciate this later. Things do happen when the pressure is on. But now that I think about it, I would say it wasn’t required. That’s not what you want to see. There is an edge, and you don’t want to cross it.”
For his actions on the pitch, Kohli received a penalty of 20% of his match money in addition to one demerit point. In the meantime, Konstas, who made his debut, finished his innings with 60 runs off of just 65 balls and scored his first Test half-century.
Rahul, who is regarded as one of the top Indian hitters on this tour, was dropped from his opening position to number three during the Indian innings.
