Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) pacer David Willey thanked colleague Virat Kohli by presenting a bat signed with a personal message to his son. Willey, who fractured his toe and suffered an adductor strain during RCB’s April 26 match against KKR, has been declared out of IPL 2023.
Willey posted a picture of his son holding the bat that Virat Kohli had given him after rejoining his family in the UK. The pacer thanked Kohli on his social media account for bestowing his son with a bat with a personalized message.

At the mega auction of 2022, RCB paid 2 crore INR to acquire the 33-year-old. He appeared in only four games and took three wickets with an economy rate of 7.00 on average.
Kedar Jadhav replaces David Willey for the RCB.
Meanwhile, RCB has appointed veteran player Kedar Jadhav as a replacement and paid INR 1 crore to acquire him. In 93 matches in the lucrative competition, Jadhav has scored 1196 runs at a strike rate of 123.17.
Speaking of the RCB’s season, the team is currently riding high following a low-scoring, defensive victory against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Faf du Plessis and company are currently ranked fifth on the IPL Points Table with five victories in nine matches. On Saturday, May 6, they are scheduled to face David Warner and the Delhi Capitals.
