Virat Kohli has been in good form as of late, and it would be essential for India if he carried this momentum into the upcoming Test match against Australia.
With preparations for the Border Gavaskar Trophy well underway, India will rely on a large number of great players to propel them to another another series victory over Australia. India will need Virat Kohli to be in top form if they hope to salvage anything from this series.

Harbhajan Singh, an accomplished Indian spinner, has recently spoken out on the subject. The 42-year-old commented on the next Test series between India and Australia, emphasising the significance of Virat Kohli form and how essential it will be for the squad.

“I believe that this is the series in which Virat Kohli bat will speak most clearly. We know he won’t stop once he begins moving. If India wishes to do well in this series, it will be necessary for the run machine to assume responsibility and score many runs. Simply forget what has occurred in the past. Regardless of what the technique’s flaws were, they are now obsolete.

Harbhajan also supported Virat Kohli ability to lead India to the WTC final.

With four international centuries since September 2022, Kohli, widely regarded as one of the greatest batters of all time, appears to have regained his previous form. However, he has yet to score a century in a Test match, and the next series against Australia could be the perfect opportunity for him to do so.

Team India will attempt to reach the final of the ICC World Test Championship when they meet in Nagpur on February 9 for the first Test. According to Singh, Kohli’s form would be important if India hopes to reach the WTC final.
