The victory also pleased Lockie Ferguson, the pacer for the RCB. In an interview on air following his critical last over, the pacer stated, “Unbelievable, not sure how to put in words, complete team effort; it wasn’t easy to bowl at the end, it was very wet.” It was fantastic, Yash, to get rid of MS and finish the work. This is bowling; it’s supposed to be unpredictable and keep the batters guessing.
We needed to keep the hitters guessing because there’s some spin as well. We completed the task in the end. When bowled on a length, the wicket was giving a little trouble, so I asked why he didn’t deliver a yorker in the 19th over. If only I could go back in time. Though maybe we could have given it a shot, we all know how skilled Jaddu (Ravindra Jadeja) is with the yorker ball. I appreciate Yash finishing the task.
