Pat Cummins, the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), shared a kind gesture and a humorous moment with his Australian teammate Mitchell Marsh. The incident happened following SRH’s most recent game versus the LSG.
Cummins is seen boarding the squad bus with a sign of Marsh in the released footage. Cummins held the banner and stated, “My Man,” with a broad smile on his face. This turned into a humorous scene between the supporters and players.
Since the Sunrisers Hyderabad posted the video on their official ‘X’ feed, it has been receiving a lot of attention. In the meantime, the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 has officially ruled out both SRH and LSG. Notably, SRH was eliminated earlier in the campaign, and the Lucknow-based team was also eliminated from the league after defeating LSG.
No Mitch Marsh was harmed in this video 😂

DC competes for the final IPL 2025 playoff slot, while SRH and LSG want to finish strong.
There are two games left in Sunrisers Hyderabad’s campaign. On May 23, they will play Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. On May 24, they will play the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, which will be their season-ending match. Likewise, on May 22 and 27, respectively, LSG will play Gujarat Titans (GT) in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium and RCB at their home field to wrap off this year’s competition.
Three teams—the Gujarat Titans (GT), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), and Punjab Kings (PBKS)—have already guaranteed their spots in the IPL 2025 playoffs. The Delhi Capitals (DC) and Mumbai Indians (MI) are vying for the fourth and final slot. On May 21, the two teams will play at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. While DC has to win both of their remaining games against MI and PBKS to maintain their prospects, a win for MI would guarantee their postseason qualification.
