In the fourth over of the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 Match No. 2 between India and the United Arab Emirates at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Jasprit Bumrah hit a deadly yorker to dismiss Alishan Sharafu (22 off 17). In the crucial match, Bumrah handed India their first breakthrough, as the UAE were ultimately bowled out for 57 in 13.1 overs.
Sharafu hit a boundary off the penultimate ball of the right-arm pacer’s opening over, but Bumrah had the last laugh. The 22-year-old opening batsman was defeated by the scorching yorker in the end and for speed as well. The ball slammed onto the off stump, sending bails flying everywhere, and the UAE’s opening batsman was late in pressing his bat to the dirt.

In three overs, Bumrah concluded with statistics of 1/19.
Kuldeep Yadav, a left-arm wrist spinner, was the show’s standout performer (4/7 in 2.1 overs). Shivam Dube also made a contribution by taking a couple wickets. With ten dot balls delivered, the all-rounder took three wickets and gave up just four runs in two overs. Hardik Pandya, who was given the opening over of the innings, was the only bowler from India to go wicketless.
