Varun At the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, Aaron gave Akash Madhwal high marks for his performance against the Chennai Super Kings in the 62nd IPL 2025 match. The Jiostar specialist questioned why he was not given more playing time by the Rajasthan Royals in the 18th league season. Aaron thought Madhwal’s round-arm bowling was effective in the opportunities he had.
Aaron saw that Madhwal’s deliveries tended to tail in immediately prior to making contact with the bat after analysing his bowling. Brevis failed to detect the impending delivery and ended up getting an inside edge to fall into the trap, so Aaron realised that it was the dismissal that got him the wicket. Aaron believed Madhwal did a good job carrying out his plans and was rewarded during the game against CSK.
“I felt that he made excellent use of the circumstances and exploited his round-arm action to pull some nice yorkers. He tails in at the end, but only a little. Brevis gained the inner edge since he missed it. “That’s how you do well in the IPL,” Madhwal stated in the Star Sports dugout. “He didn’t hesitate, followed through on his plans, and performed really well.”
The fact that RR did not include the former IPL bowler at the beginning of the season surprised him. He actually only appeared in four of RR’s fourteen games during the season, the majority of which were played after they were eliminated. Aaron thought Madhwal might have been a fantastic bowling partner with Sandeep Sharma and considered him a wonderful death bowler.
“I’m just shocked that Akash Madhwal wasn’t the starting quarterback this season. Last year, he had a pretty good season. His death bowling abilities are excellent. Their death bowling was the main cause for anxiety. He would have been a great combination with Sandeep Sharma. Aaron said, “I don’t understand why they only used him after the seventh or eighth game, but he’s producing results now.”
I fully support MI taking down DC: Varun Aaron
In some of the IPL 2025 matches, the former pacer mentioned how the weather element interfered. The 63rd game of the season between the Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians might determine both teams’ chances of making the playoffs, so he prayed the rain wouldn’t ruin it.
Aaron said that KL Rahul was the only player in the DC lineup who might provide a threat to the home team and that he was an excellent batter at Wankhede Stadium. In the absence of a great knock from the wicketkeeper batter, the former Indian bowler predicted that the five-time champions will prevail.
It’s going to be an incredible game, so I sincerely hope it doesn’t rain. The stakes are high and a lot is at stake. I adore KL Rahul, who is at the Wankhede. His statistics at the Wankhede are astounding, as is the manner he plays. In the entire setup, he is the only player who can actually prevent MI from winning that game. Otherwise, I fully support MI’s defeat of DC,” Aaron said.
