Usman Khawaja daughters cheer his dismissal in the Ahmedabad Test with the phrase "Hello Dadda."

In the fourth Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Australia‘s opening batsman Usman Khawaja, displayed remarkable rhythm. After concluding Day 1 with an individual score of 104, the southpaw continued his innings on Day 2 and contributed to Australia’s massive 480-run total.

In order to boost his team’s position, the dazzling Australian opener partnered with Cameron Green for 208 runs. Former Australian cricketers Ian Chappell and Matthew Hayden showered admiration on the left-handed opener following his amazing century.

When Usman Khawaja was playing one of the most spectacular shots of his career, his daughters in Australia were cheering him on.

Rachel, his wife, uploaded a photo of her daughters watching the game on television to Instagram. “Here at home, Uzzy’s youngest fans are cheering him on. Hey Dadda, “She commented on the post.

Before Axar Patel ran him out, the 36-year-old had scored 180 runs off 422 deliveries with the help of 21 fours. The on-field umpire denied the left-arm spinner’s appeal, but the hosts successfully appealed the ruling.

Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill batted without loss for the remainder of the day, scoring 36 runs after Australia’s second inning was concluded on Day 2 with 480 runs. Nevertheless, on Day 3, India suffered an early setback as captain Rohit was dismissed for 35 off 58 balls with three fours and a six.

In reference to others, Gill made a century and added 113 runs with Cheteshwar Pujara at the second wicket. Pujara was bowled by Todd Murphy for 42 off 121 balls before India’s tea break, with Gill and Virat Kohli in the middle and the score at 188/2.
