UAE vs. Bangladesh in two Twenty20 Internationals in Sharjah

Prior to their series against the Men in Green, which begins later this month, Bangladesh will visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for two Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) in the second half of May. The two matches will take place at Dubai’s Dubai International Cricket Stadium (DICS), as confirmed by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Friday, May 2.

In a statement, BCB Chief Executive Officer Nizamuddin Chowdhury expressed his happiness at the Bangla Tigers’ return to the United Arab Emirates and his strong hopes that the series will guarantee positive future relations between the two national cricket boards.

The return of the BCB national team to the United Arab Emirates is welcomed. The Emirates Cricket Board’s initiative in setting up this T20I series is greatly appreciated by the BCB, which cherishes the chance to play competitive cricket,” Nizam stated.

“Our team’s preparations for a busy international schedule, which includes the forthcoming Asia Cup, will heavily rely on these games. In addition to offering cricket fans top-notch entertainment, we are certain that these two matches will deepen the BCB-ECB cricketing relationship,” Nizam said.

Emirates Cricket Board is thrilled to host Bangladesh.

Following a spectacular comeback by the hosts in the Chattogram match, Bangladesh recently hosted Zimbabwe for a couple of Test matches, and the series ended in a 1-1 draw. The Emirates Cricket Board seemed enthusiastic about the forthcoming bilateral series between the two countries, despite the fact that the UAE series may have come as a surprise. Subhan Ahmad, the Chief Operating Officer of the ECB, expressed his enthusiasm for the Bangladeshi team’s performance.

The UAE Men’s team and the BCB are hosting another bilateral Twenty20 International series, and we are thrilled to have them here. According to Cricbuzz, Subhan stated, “The Emirates Cricket Board is always eager to give the UAE national team opportunities against top-tier opponents. We have hosted ICC Full Members New Zealand, West Indies, and Afghanistan in the last three years, and Bangladesh’s T20I series tour is their second bilateral tour of the UAE in three years.”

“We appreciate the BCB support of UAE Cricket, and the two-match Bangladesh series will give the UAE the perfect opportunity to get ready for this year’s ACC Men’s T20 Asia Cup. We are excited to host two thrilling matches at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, which is a great location for T20 cricket,” he continued.
