The schedule clash that will cause England players, notably ace bowler Jofra Archer, to miss the Vitality Blast Finals Day has frustrated Sussex captain Tymal Mills. The England T20I series against Australia and the domestic T20 event final showdown have generated discussion regarding whether international cricket should take precedence over domestic competitions.
England’s Twenty20 International series against Australia, which is slated to take place on September 13 and 15, will take place on the same day as the Vitality Blast Finals Day at Edgbaston on September 14.
Due to this overlap, important players for their county teams are unavailable on one of the most important days in the domestic cricket season.
