In the fifth and final Test of the current series, India defeated England for 247 in the first innings thanks to four wickets apiece from pace bowlers Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna. The match took place at the Kennington Oval in London. Even though England took a 23-run advantage, India had a chance to close the gap and put up a higher total in the second innings because to the similarly impressive performances of Siraj and Krishna.
Irfan Pathan, a former cricket player, also offered his thoughts on Mohammed and Prasidh Krishna’s outstanding ball-handling performances. He claimed that when Mohammed is tasked with spearheading the pace attack from the front, he is a different animal. According to Pathan, Prasidh Krishna, who had had a difficult tour thus far, also demonstrated his mastery of the spell on the second day.
“When you give the responsibility of leading the pack to Mohammed Siraj, he delivers differently. And those 4 wickets will do a world of good to Prasidh Krishna,” the former India all-rounder wrote on his official ‘X’ handle.

A real Indian champion, Siraj: Muhammad Kaif
In the meantime, Pathan’s long-time teammate Mohammad Kaif added to his remarks about the star pacer Siraj. Siraj, in Kaif’s opinion, is generally underappreciated, but he consistently delivers regardless of the difficulties that the situation presents. The Uttar Pradesh native therefore thinks Siraj is a bowling champion who merits greater recognition for his services to the Indian squad.
Mohammed Siraj doesn’t get the due he deserves. his never say die attitude brings crowd to the stadium, what a true india champion.

On the third day, the Shubman Gill-led team would try to maximise the objective for the Englishmen by bringing in in-form opener Yashasvi Jaiswal (52*) and Akash Deep (4*).
