“That has always been the way of our culture. So, even if it works for someone else, we shouldn’t emulate their playing style, Ashwin said bluntly in his YouTube video. He highlighted that for a new style to be successful, management, selectors, and the crowd must all fully support it.
Because their administration fully supports this style of play, it “works” for them. Their selectors encourage the players to play in this manner, Ashwin continued.
