In Harare, the second season of the Zim Afro T10 Cup is slated to start on September 21. The draft of the same will take place on September 8 and will be live aired on the tournament’s official YouTube account, according to the promoters. In the novice tournament, six teams will compete for glory, and each team has made moves to add global stars and icons to their rosters.
Teams will be able to add some local talent to complete their necessary 15-man roster with the upcoming draft in. In addition, it grants the option to select a different icon player as the 16th player in addition to those who have previously signed. Each team’s maximum for local players is six, although Zimbabwe can also produce global and icon players.
Speaking of notable international cricketers, the Bulawayo Braves Jaguars have signed David Warner, a former Australian cricketer, and Carlos Brathwaite, a great batsman from the West Indies. The Cape Town Samp Army has signed contracts with Gulbadin Naib and Qais Ahmed of Afghanistan in addition to England pacer David Willey and batter Dawid Malan.

Colin Munro and Mark Chapman, two Kiwis who will be playing in the league, will be wearing Durban Wolves jerseys. In order to ensure that Sharjeel Khan and Yasir Shah are present, Wolves have also recruited players from Pakistan.
