In the final of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, the Chennai Super Kings beat the Gujarat Titans and changed the course of history. Chennai’s success in winning their fifth IPL title may have been due to the famous captain, MS Dhoni.

The captain of Chennai’s team can be seen holding the “Bhagavad Gita” in a picture that is going around on several social media sites. He was a big reason why Chennai won its fifth IPL title in the 16th season of the money-making league. The captain of Chennai is likely to have knee surgery soon.

During the IPL 2023, MS Dhoni was taking care of a knee problem. The injury didn’t affect him at all behind the stumps, but when he was at the plate, the 41-year-old looked very sad. Because of his knee problem, he had to bat pretty far down the list, and he also had trouble running between the wickets.

Chennai CEO Kasi Viswanathan recently said that Dhoni would see a doctor about his knee, and if surgery is needed, it would be up to the captain to decide if he wants to go through with it.

When they beat the Gujarat Titans by five wickets, the Chennai Super Kings won their fifth IPL title.
In the IPL 2023 final, the Gujarat Titans batted first because they lost the toss. Shubman Gill, Wriddhiman Saha, and Sai Sudharshan all hit the ball very well. Gill got 39 runs in 20 balls, Saha got 54 runs in 39 balls for a great half-century, and Sudharshan took the spotlight by getting 96 runs in 47 balls.

After the first game, Gujarat put up a huge 215 runs for Chennai to try to catch up to. When it was the second team’s turn to bat, rain once more got in the way, so the team under MS Dhoni received a new DLS goal of 171 runs to reach in 15 overs.

With a big goal in mind, Chennai came through. Chennai chased down the goal and won the game by five wickets to become the first team to win the IPL five times in a row.
