Justin Langer, a former Australian cricketer and head coach, has been chosen to lead the Lucknow Super Giants for the upcoming season. It should be noted that the team said goodbye to the previous coach, Andy Flower, earlier in the day because his two-year contract had expired. At the men’s Ashes, Flower is assisting Australia as a consultant. However, Langer ended his tenure as the Australian cricket team’s head coach in 2022. The illustrious opener is presently broadcasting the ongoing Ashes 2023.

Notably, Justin Langer resigned from his position as Australia’s head coach after allegedly receiving an insulting six-month contract extension despite leading the team to their first-ever T20 World Cup victory in 2021. Additionally, there were rumors that Langer’s connection with some of the team’s veteran players had broken down.
