Jos Buttler, the top-order batsman for the Gujarat Titans (GT), has stated that the Indian Premier League (IPL) has been an excellent venue for young players. The England batsman, who has amassed 356 runs for GT in the IPL 2025 thus far, underlined that new players may grow their skills and learn from more seasoned players.
In addition, the right-handed hitter said that GT captain Shubman Gill is a cool-headed and collected leader who has excellent communication skills and a strong bond with his teammates.
The opportunity for young athletes to succeed under intense pressure and expectations is incredible. As players from abroad, we are unable to completely understand the strain they endure, yet they manage it admirably. Shubman appears to be a cool leader and a sophisticated player who can connect with anyone. On JioHotstar’s “Gen Gold” show, Jos Buttler described the Indian Premier League as “an amazing academy for young talent, offering them the chance to learn from top players and coaches while still encouraging them to stay true to themselves.”
The GT setup is quite serene: Jos Buttler
When the 34-year-old left the Rajasthan Royals (RR) camp, he felt a little different. According to the former England captain, the environment at GT is kept upbeat and the layout is really soothing. He acknowledged that the former Indian cricket player creates a welcoming atmosphere in the camp and expressed his satisfaction with working with GT head coach Ashish Nehra.
“After spending so many seasons with the Rajasthan Royals and making wonderful memories, playing for the Gujarat Titans feels different. However, I’m looking forward to something new because it will keep things exciting and novel. This place has a really laid-back and comfortable atmosphere. “I’ve enjoyed getting to know Shubman Gill, who is a very impressive, calm young captain, and Ashish Nehra, who runs a fun, positive environment,” the GT batter remarked.
Never forget to treasure the times spent with RR: Jos Buttler
The batsman, who was born in Somerset, revealed that he had a wonderful relationship with his teammate Sanju Samson and that they had learnt a variety of things together. He said he will treasure the lovely recollections he had of the previous franchise.
“Over the years, I’ve had a terrific relationship with Sanju, learning a lot from him and observing his approach to problems. The friendships and memories we made together will endure, he continued, even though time has passed and he is now with a different franchise.
