Northern Superchargers defeated Welsh Fire in their season opener with eight wickets and 11 deliveries to spare. They reached 143/9 after batting first because to wicketkeeper-batter Jonny Bairstow’s 23-ball 43. However, Zak Crawley’s undefeated 67-run off 38 balls defeated them.
