James Anderson, widely regarded as one of the best fast bowlers of all time, has never shied away from shattering records. Anderson has aged like a wonderful wine, despite being forty years old. Former England captain Michael Atwood recently commented on Anderson’s longevity and stated that no fast bowler will ever take more wickets in Test cricket than Anderson.

Anderson was recently regarded as the best Test bowler, prompting Atherton to lavish praise on the 40-year-old and predict that he will soon surpass the 700-wicket mark in Test cricket.
“It is a great accomplishment for anyone to be recognised as the best in the world, but to do it at the age of 40 in one of the most physically demanding sports is fantastic,” Michael Atwood wrote.
