South Africa’s captain, Temba Bavuma, believes that inexperience will not be an issue in the West Indies

Ace Anrich Nortje, a bowler for South Africa, chose not to sign a central contract in order to concentrate more on T20 and franchise cricket, while Gerald Coetzee missed the next two Test matches against the West Indies due to a side strain. He said that the players would have a huge chance to prove themselves in international cricket by stepping up and winning against the West Indies.

The batting group is inexperienced as well. Nine Test matches have been played by Tony de Zorzi, Tristan Stubbs, and David Beddingham combined, which raises concerns ahead of an away series.
