With an incredible century against IRE-W, Tammy Beaumont breaks into the top three on the elusive list

In the continuing second One-Day International (ODI) of the three-match series in Belfast, England Women’s opener Tammy Beaumont amassed an astounding 150 runs against Ireland Women. Her 193-minute knock, which included a maximum and 16 fours, helped England Women to an astonishing 320/8 in the 50 overs.

Tammy Beaumont mentioned her tenth tonne in the format during this process, and as a result, she was added to a distinguished list. She passed former teammate Charlotte Edwards, teammate Nat Sciver-Brunt, and Sri Lankan captain Chamari Athapaththu to enter the top three of the chart, which includes players with the most hundreds in ODI history for women’s cricket. She is now ranked third, after Suzie Bates and Meg Lanning.

She not only became the fastest English women’s cricket player to reach 4,000 runs in the 50-over format during the magnificent knock, but she also became the fastest player to do so in just 110 innings. Prior to Beaumont, the fastest were Sarah Taylor and Clare Taylor, who each required seven extra innings.

Tammy Beaumont and Kemp quickly outperformed Ireland Women in the game.

Even though Emma Lamb, Hollie Armitage, and Paige Scholfield had good starts, none of them could convert them into significant runs, and England Women ended up at 113 after losing their third wicket in the 24th over. The 19-year-old all-rounder Freya Kemp entered the field. In just her fourth one-day international, she seemed completely at ease and confident, cruising along in the midst of her senior player.

They put up 101 for the fourth wicket in just 79 deliveries, putting England Women in a commanding position once more.

Ireland Women are currently in a lot of danger as they have already lost four batters for 24 runs in the tenth over of the run-chase.
