After the first ODI was rained out, Bangladesh won the three-match series by a score of 2-0 by chasing down 320 runs in 45 overs in the second ODI. Andrew Balbirnie, who was captain of Ireland, got the toss and chose to bowl first. In 48.5 overs, Mark Adair took four wickets for Ireland as Bangladesh was bowled out for 274 runs.
Ireland was only able to score 269 runs, thanks to Mustafizur Rahman’s four wickets. Bangladesh beat Ireland 2-0 in an ODI series, and captain Tamim Iqbal was happy with how hard-working his team was. He said that trying to reach 320 runs in 45 overs was hard no matter how big the field was or how good the team was, and he thought they did a great job. He then said that the last ODI was the most important game for him.
