Tamim believes he will heal in time for the World Cup.

Tamim Iqbal, the star player for Bangladesh, is optimistic that he will be able to recuperate in time for the World Cup in India as he works through his recovery process.

Tamim will miss the forthcoming Asia Cup because it was agreed that he would finish his back injury recovery in time for the three-match ODI series against New Zealand that is scheduled before the World Cup.

Tamim started practicing in the net earlier, but he won’t start training seriously until September 7, two weeks before the ODI series against New Zealand. “In terms of rehabilitation, everything are going well. I believe we are on pace with how my plan is now set up. I haven’t yet complained about the back discomfort and I am pleased with the results so far. There has also been no hint of severe pain since getting the injection. I have been experiencing stiffness for one or two days at this point, which makes me extremely happy.

Everyone working on the program (rehabilitation), including the new rehab manager Kieron Thoms, national team physio Bayzid, and national team trainer Nick, are happy with the results.Tamim was quoted on Sunday (August 27) on Not Out Noman, a prominent VDO-based cricket platform, as saying, “If we can move forward well in that case the series that I am targeting I hope (to make myself available).”

“I believe that starting on September 7th, I will be able to participate in a complete net session without being restricted in any way. As you can see, on the first two days, I only faced throw downs, but starting today, I can use a stick for throw downs. According to the schedule, every day has a checkmark; there hasn’t been a day when we were unable to complete a task for any reason other than the day I experienced calf pain.

“It’s significant (the five matches leading up to the World Cup include two exhibition games, three one-day internationals versus New Zealand), but what’s more important to me is getting in a full 10 days of net sessions, in my opinion. I don’t believe a match could pose a significant challenge for me because I have played for so long. Normally, I should be fine if I can complete 10 proper net sessions before to the first game. The fact that we will play five games is excellent, and if I can play three or four games before the World Cup, it would be beneficial, he remarked.

After everything that has occurred recently, Tamim said that going back to the dressing room can be unsettling. During an emotional news conference in Chattogram on July 6, Tamim stunned the cricketing community by announcing his immediate retirement from international cricket.

He changed his mind, nonetheless, as a result of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s involvement. Later, he made the decision to relinquish his captaincy. He acknowledged, “It may happen. “I don’t think it’s solely my responsibility to handle it,” With such a large cricket board, it is impossible for me to be solely responsible for things being alright given the number of professionals we have employed and the amount of money we have spent.

“If I said everything was okay, I would be lying. I can’t deny that today’s situation is due to cricket, but the first thing that came to mind was the possibility of me becoming furious with someone or having someone get angry with me. Things were not perfect, and if I maintain that position and, as I previously stated, if someone is angry with me or I am angry with someone, and you are traveling to such a crucial tournament and you cannot communicate well or there is any sort of unease, eventually it will have an effect on the team, I don’t want to be that selfish.

“I always placed the burden on myself and did not place the blame on anyone else for what occurred. What has been addressed inside should stay internally. Unfortunately, the media in Bangladesh reports on a number of topics. Injury is not the primary reason for stepping down, but it was a factor. I gave stepping down a lot of thought because I believed that whoever is in charge, the management, and everyone else needed to be on the same floor. It doesn’t matter if we win or lose, but it is always better for the team if we are all on the same level, he remarked.
