A sizable gathering of supporters welcomed Hardik Pandya to his birthplace of Vadodara after his all-around brilliance helped India win the 2024 T20 World Cup last month.
The famous all-rounder was shown waving to the ecstatic supporters on the road from the top of an open bus while donning India’s ODI jersey in a video that went viral in a matter of minutes. The car with the Indian symbol on it had a placard praising Hardik as the “Pride of Vadodara.”
In the thrilling summit match between South Africa and India in Barbados, Hardik bowled the last over and successfully defended 16 runs. Both fans and analysts have heaped praise on the 30-year-old following his incredible performance at the 20-team event.
