However, fans will be considering the fate of Showdown because the weather in the Caribbean has greatly influenced the results of the games throughout the group rounds.
The rain gods are expected to make an appearance during the game, so the weather forecast does not seem good for the match day. 10:30 AM local time (8 PM IST) is when the game is scheduled to begin. Strong winds starting in the morning and lasting until the afternoon are expected, along with a 70% chance of rain and high humidity levels of 81%. The event may be hampered by the ongoing rain, so the organisers had to go to Plan B.
Plan B, if you will, calls for a Reserve Day for the championship match. Should that day not work out, the match will take place on June 30. For failing to reserve a day for the second semifinal, the ICC has already drawn a great deal of criticism. Since there is only one winner from the Final match, should things go wrong on the appointed day, the event will prepare for its newest champion the next day.

How would you handle it if the Finals reserve day is a washout?
The two finalists will be proclaimed the joint winners of the competition if the Reserve Day also ends in a washout. But nothing about this is novel for an ICC competition.
