At the Arnos Vale Ground in Kingstown on June 13, Bangladesh (BAN) and the Netherlands (NED) squared off in Match 27 of the T20 World Cup 2024. The Netherlands elected to bowl first after winning the toss. By getting rid of Najmul Shanto and Litton Das, Aryan Dutt gave the Dutch an early advantage. Edwards and Sybrand both left the game with scores of 25 and 33, respectively. Bangladesh brought in Rishad Hossain, who dismissed Bas de Leede and Logan van Beek, two significant breakthroughs. The lower-order batsmen for the Netherlands struggled as 36 runs were needed from 12 deliveries. In the T20 World Cup 2024 match, Bangladesh won by 25 runs after successfully tackling them. Bangladesh’s prospects of making it to the Super 8 stage were maintained by this win.
