In response, Powell’s men entered the game forcefully after dismissing Devon Conway in the third over since the BlackCaps were unable to score runs quickly. In order to lure Williamson to the crease, Finn Allen left the pitch in the sixth over. However, he failed to make an impression and was caught for a 2-ball-1 by Gudakesh Motie.
